Gymnastics Victoria are excited to launch the Level Up scholarship program!

The Level Up scholarship will provide funding for people who are intending to undertake gymnastics coaching or judging accreditations who may be facing barriers to engage in education.

This scholarship is aimed at coaches and judges who can demonstrate career aspirations in gymnastics. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the entire pathway that is relevant to their goals. To be successful applicants must complete this career development plan as part of their application. This funding can support coaches and judges through both the online and face to face components of any, or multiple, accreditation levels.

A successful applicant will be able to clearly demonstrate the barriers that they face in engaging in coach/judge education, their career goals or aspirations in gymnastics, and endorsement from their club. It is strongly advised that individuals apply for this scholarship with support and assistance from their club throughout the application process.

To be eligible, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

·         Be living or working greater than 80km from Melbourne

·         Experiencing financial hardship or have a special circumstance warranting funding assistance

·         Have limited access to training facilities or gymnastics education courses/providers

·         Demonstrate physical or social barriers e.g. Disability, CALD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

Applicants must be 14 years or older and be working at, or intending to work at, a Gymnastics Victoria affiliated club in order to be considered.
