Overview:

Gymnastics Victoria is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals from the gymnastics community to join our team as Presenters and Assessors. As a Presenter and Assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering coaching and judging courses within the Gymnastics Australia framework. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated members of the gymnastics community to contribute to its growth, share expertise, and enhance their own teaching and educational skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coaching and/or judging courses in accordance with Gymnastics Australia guidelines.

• Ensure that participants gain the necessary competencies for their accreditation level.

• Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment for all participants.

• Collaborate with the Education Team to enhance professional development opportunities.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Current Technical Member of Gymnastics Australia.

• Hold a Gymnastics Australia Intermediate or above coaching accreditation or an Intermediate or above judging accreditation with a minimum of two years Gymsport coaching/judging experience.

• Hold First Aid and CRP qualifications

• Possess a current Working with Children Check.

• Already hold or be willing to obtain any required national or international police /criminal record checks at your own expense

Course Information:

The Presenter and Assessor course is a weekend program, running for two full days from 9 am to 5 pm. The total course cost is $120.00, however for successful applicants, Gymnastics Victoria will be covering this expense.

Completion of the course does not guarantee engagement as a course presenter on behalf of Gymnastics Victoria.
