Host a Gymnastics Australia Education Course

Expression of Interest system

Gymnastics Clubs, that are currently affiliated with Gymnastics Victoria, can submit an expression of interest to host a Coaching and Judging Course at their club via the expression of interest form. Gymnastics Victoria develops the education calendar on a quarterly basis. We open the EOI form two to three weeks before the upcoming quarter and develop a calendar that best suits the needs of the community. Please note that submitting an EOI for a course does not guarantee that Gymnastics Victoria will be able to facilitate the course you have requested.

When developing the quarterly calendar, GV considers the following;

  • Overall demand for the course type requested

  • The location of the club requested

  • Other EOI requests of a similar nature (date, location, course type etc.)

  • The number of coaches the host club has to participate in the course

  • Other Gymnastics events which may conflict with the requested date

  • Likely hood of strong attendance for the requested course

  • Course Presenter availability

In the event that Gv cannot facilitate your EOI, you will be directed to a suitable alternative to your request as determined by Gymnastics Victoria.

What's Involved with hosting?

Hosting an education course doesn't take much effort on behalf of the club, however, there are some things to consider when agreeing to host a course;

  • Will you be able to provide exclusive access to your venue on the requested dates? (GV requires exclusive access to venues to run education courses)

  • Will a club representative be available to allow the presenter access to the venue and close up at the end of the course?

  • You will be required to provide access to the venue free of charge to Gymnastics Victoria.
