About the event

Description:

Join us online or in person for an insight into the introduction of early twisting drills and the foundational physical preparation necessary for junior athletes, laying the groundwork for successful mastery of twisting skills in their senior years. This workshop will equip coaches with the tools to foster technically proficient backward and forward full twists.

Participants can anticipate a thorough explanation on correct twisting directions and common errors, offering invaluable insights for honing coaching strategies. Moreover, significant emphasis will be placed on physical preparation specific to tumbling, complemented by thorough safety considerations.

To enrich the learning experience, athlete demonstrators will be present, providing real-world demonstrations and further enhancing understanding.

This session is well suited including Beginner/Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced coaches involved in coaching or intending to coach tumbling skills. Professionals working across various gymnastics disciplines including GfA, TUM, MAG, WAG, and ACR will find value in this educational opportunity.

For those unable to attend in person, a live Zoom link will be provided. Additionally, recordings of the session will be made available to registered attendees for future reference and review. Don't miss this chance to elevate your coaching expertise and empower your athletes for success!
