Learn how coaches can create safer environments for the well-being of participants. Learn the importance of warming up and cooling down for better performance and recovery. Erin will lead you through a perfect warm-up, explaining mechanics and giving gymnastics-specific examples. Explore the cool-down phase as a gateway to recovery, optimising stretching, and preparation for future activities. Designed for Intermediate and Advanced coaches across all Gymsports, this session benefits any coach aiming to refine their approach and advance their career.
PRESENTER: Erin, a Masters qualified Sports Physiotherapist with 20 years of industry experience, has treated Cirque du Soleil performers, Red Bull cliff divers, Nitro Circus athletes, Olympians and gymnasts. Erin founded Art Physio in 2018, a Sports Medicine Practice for performers and athletes with locations on the Gold Coast. Passionate about injury prevention, she established IndemniFLY, where she researches and writes course content.
